Wow, yesterday was such a busy day for me here. Gathering up 7 puppies to take anywhere, especially when they are 7 weeks of age, is no easy task. Anyway, first thing in a.m. after playtime outside and feeding, I piled all of them into the car and headed for Woof's Den and their first professional grooming. That is my real time of discovery........to really see what I have with these puppies. Wow, Rhett/Glory gave me some great puppies. There are several I would consider show prospects, too, and that is disconcerting to me since I have no show homes except for me for this litter.
Later I picked them up and we headed to the vet for final physical and first puppy vaccinations He gives a very thorough physical ........checks heart for murmurs, checks the boys to see if testicles are there, moves legs around to check knees and possible hip issues, and then the first puppy vac..........DA2PP Only! Darn if we didn't do weights. I had to wait so long with 7 puppies that I totally did not ask since we were last patients of the day. Sorry, folks.
By the time we arrived home it was nearly dark outside, and these poor puppies had little exercise for the day. So I stayed outside with them and fed all the puppies together. It was dark when we went inside. Incidentally, I was starving, too. (lol). All told, all of us stayed outside for nearly one hour. Tis tis, the life of a breeder.
I'll try to get some video of these cute, cute puppies and post later today.
