Arley Hall Airedales Carl Junction MO 64834 Cheryl Kranz - Scott

Not that I am happy about this, but little "Gertie" has demonstrated her airedale instincts right here.   Two night's ago, about 2:30 a.m., I was up because I heard the puppies crying.   I went to change dirty papers and took Gertie out of the run to play with her mom, Callie.    I then noticed she was playing with something so I went over to check it out.   Lo and behold, my little angel had a very dead mouse in her mouth.   Oh wow, I know we have had mice, and I guess we still do......darn it.    The mouse had been dead for a while, and I am uncertain where Gertie found it downstairs, amidst my still unpacked boxes I think.   So it it true, airedales in their element are hunters of all kinds of small mammals (yuck).   My little hunter girl.   I was just saying to my husband that we should have more cats to catch  these mice, but maybe not with Gertie here (lol).
